Davis Motomiya is a hero from the Digimon universe.
He is voiced by Brian Donovan.
He is the leader of the 2nd generation DigiDestined with Veemon as his Digimon. A major running gag is his obsessive crush on Kari and his failures to impress her, and the same goes for Veemon with Gatomon.
He's the best friend of Ken Ichijouji and has a slight rivalry towards T.K. He looks up to Tai, in which the latter gave Davis his goggles. In 2005, he, Yolei, Ken, and Cody were captured by Alphamon after they discovered King Drasil's plans. They and Gennai were placed in life support tubes until they were rescued by Tai. In 2010, Davis is in a vocational school to obtain a cook's license. He and Ken go on ramen trips to eat and research on noodles from different parts of the world.
Ultimate Story[]
He appeared along with his DigiDestined, Banjo, Kazooie, and Misty as they were training Kari to become a Fairy at the Isle o' Hags; this takes place sometime before the end of the Journey through Kanto.

Davis and his teammates are still deemed unfit for active status after their fight with Alphamon. Their health is being monitored by Nate Silva, head of research at Grid Battleforce.
LOTM: Plan To Destroy The Heroes[]
Davis heard the news that Tai and Matt were killed during the Assault of the Orichalcos. He was very sad that his remaining friends were buried during the wake. However, he was comforted by Kang Maru and the gang that he can move forward. After Envie's death against the hands of Dartz and his men, Davis Motomiya is determinable to avenge the deaths of his late friends. Davis and the remaining DigiDestined were defeated and killed by Dartz and his men.
