Lieutenant Commander David Mason (codenamed: SECTION) is the main character of Call of Duty: Black Ops II and a character in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. He is a Navy SEAL, son of CIA Agent Alex Mason, and father of Savanah and Jessica Mason.

David doesn't make an official appearance in the story but is mentioned by Kyle Richards many times in the story. He was the former leader of T.F.G along with Peter Harris and Argelius Ramos. He died after a rebel terror cell launched a Nova 6 chemical attack on their post in Dayton, Ohio.
