Dartz was the main antagonist in the Waking the Dragons story arc of the Second Series Anime. Dartz was the last potentate of the city of Atlantis, and his history was tied to the lost city.
LOTM: Plan To Destroy The Heroes[]
King Dartz debutted in this entire story as an anti-villain. Dartz himself hires many villains to destroy the DigiDestined and their Digimon as soon as possible. After the deaths of Tai and Matt, that the villains were successful in killing, just by capturing the souls of the dead DigiDestined just before awakening the Great Beast. After Envie' demise, King Dartz gives an assignment to the Time Jackers and the villains in order make their duties be successful.
