Commander Shaw is the head of Grid Battleforce and mother of Ravi Shaw, the Beast Morphers Blue Ranger. She serves as the mentor of the Beast Morphers.
She works with Nate Silva to harness Morph-X as a clean, sustainable energy source. Fully aware that tapping into the Morphin Grid could be dangerous, she has a Ranger program to counteract any threat to the Morphin Grid, with her son Ravi being a canidate. When the original canidates for red and yellow were copied into avatars by Evox, rendering the real individuals comatose, Nate forced a morph on Zoey, a laundry lady, and Devon, a trespasser. As a result, Shaw fully acknowledges Devon and Zoey as the Red and Yellow Rangers.
