Clefable

Clefable is the evolved form of Clefairy and the final evolutionary form of Cleffa. It can evolve only if someone were to use a Moonstone on it. It is said that they are amongst the rarest Pokemon in the world. It can also pick up on sounds that are very far away. Because of this, they tend to live in quiet places.

Like Clefairy, it was once labeled as a Normal type until Generation VI when its type was changed to pure Fairy Type. Although, given their fairy-like appearance, that would have been apparent once this particular Pokemon type has been discovered.

Clefable moves by skipping lightly as if it were flying using its wings. Its bouncy step lets it even walk on water. It is known to take strolls on lakes on quiet, moonlit nights.

Its name is a combination of clef, which is French for (musical) note, and fable. It may also come from able as it has incredible hearing and can lightly skip on water.

Its Japanese name, ピクシー Pixy, is a corruption of pixie.

Princess Zelda owns a Clefable.

Rayman also owns one as an equal to Peach 's Wigglytuff.
