"Cinder" (real name Ben Ferris) is a playable character featured in the Killer Instinct franchise. He is a human male with a body composed completely of plasma and flames. He is a dashing-rushdown character in the original Killer Instinct, and an aerial-dashing-trapping character in Killer Instinct (2013).
Description[]
Before the experiment a human named Ben Ferris was a former special ops united states soldier turned mercenary who had turned his life of career serving his country to committing treason against it by using the elite training he got from them for burglary to steal valuable objects and information selling. Ben Ferris got subjected to an experiment by Ultratech that turned him into a fire elemental fighter by use of the pyro modified dna of Glacius. It was life or death from ARIA's decree and he choose a new life as her second in command underling. Like T.J. Combo they both have it coming for what they did. Even if Ultratech is a corrupt corporation, you can't feel a lot of sympathy for what the two have done.
Cinder wanted a place to escape from the authorities sent after him by UltraTech and in secret by ARIA. By turning into a fiery blaze of flames, he flies away from them. His flight trip had him end up at Kingpin's territory, where he is pointed at by guns from his thugs as The Kingpin tells them to put them down and welcomes the fiery man to his criminal empire and asks if he is freelancing for a job as his turf is always free for a thief like himself to join. Cinder gladly accepts, enjoying the fact that this kind of empire is willing to let mutant outcasts like him to work for their group.
