Christine Hargensen is the popular girl of Carrie White’s high school. Chris despises Carrie for being a freak among the girls, not to mention a terrible volleyball player.
One day in the showers, when Carrie got her first period at Seventeen, Chris started teasing Carrie and had all the other girls join in. This resulted in Chris, and all her friends getting detention in the playing field by order of their gym teacher. Chris was so upset with having to do exercise for a long period, that she abruptly leaves detention at the cost of her prom ticket.
In retaliation for Carrie being let off easily, Chris makes a plan to have her nemesis humiliated at the prom. So, she has her boyfriend, Billy Nolan, slaughter some pigs at a nearby farm for the blood needed for the cruel prank that was to come. Chris also had one of her friends, whom herself does get to go to the prom, to swap certain homecoming ballots to make sure Carrie becomes prom queen.
The plan worked, as Chris secretly dumps the pig’s blood on Carrie. But as Chris and Billy run out of the school building, to watch the aftermath from outside, their prank backfires as Carrie’s powers go full tilt, causing a lot of other prom goers to get killed, and the whole building to be set a blaze.
Knowing that Carrie was at fault for the deaths of their friends, Chris and Billy decide to run her over in their car the next time they see her. But Carrie manages to use her abilities to cause the car to swerve, killing both driver and passenger in the process.
