Parody/Homage

Parodies: Characters who are direct parodies of other villains, heroes, or real-world figures. Parodies are done only for comedy purposes and, as such, are not to be taken too seriously. Considering their comedic purposes, Homages: Characters that pay homage to another villain, hero, or real-life figure. Unlike parodies, homages are done respectfully or intensified. Homage Characters are usually taken seriously, sometimes even more so than their originals. These characters are NOT used form humor.
