Lover Stealers

A love rival also known as homewreckers are villians who has taken a step too far. That is to say, the villains who abduct someone's lover/love interest, usually the one of the people they antagonize. It is most often done to coerce the victim into marriage, but it can also happen when the villain takes an hostage. Examples include King Kong, Jennifer Check, Green Goblin, Isaac Ray Peram Westcott, Rahul Metha and Aldrich Killian.

A lover stealer can also be an induvidual who has "stolen" the protagonist's love interest from them and begins a relationship with them, much to the chagrin of the hero. Examples of this include Biff Tannen, Arthas Menethil, Regina George.

A lover stealer can also include elements of both of the above. Ellen Mira Mathers, Judge Claude Frollo, Ripslinger and Bowser.
