Heretics are those who oppose the mainstream religions or political system. While they are not inherently evil, heretics often go on the extreme path of ruining social ideals or sacred places of worship, or mocking and hating the deity of a certain religion. Most heretics become who they are because they are rejected by a society with a religion or political belief that is different from them, although some heretics intentionally choose to be that way to provoke members of a certain religion or ideology.
This can also be used to describe villains that are blasphemous or idealistic, especially in regards to major world faiths or political ideologies, though do not confuse them with Defilers.
