Cartia Goltschmidt is a ambitious casino dealer from Germany who seeks to take over the Howard Resort in a Gate Battle with the help of her subordinates. She is cunning and manipulative who will use any means to ensure victory. She is also the aunt of Rina Goltschmidt Tachibana and Cartia used her to take Rio Rollins Tachibana's Gates, so Cartia could "see a Rainbow" once she achieved her goal. After Rio lost her gates to Rina in a gate battle, Cartia took over Howard Resort and renamed it the Goltschmidt Kingdom, but after Rio manged to win all the gates Cartia was forced to give the resort back to Tom Howard.
