Carmen Cortez

Carmen Cortez is one of the two titular main protagonists (alongside Juni Cortez) of Spy Kids Trilogy and a major character of Spy Kids 4: All the Time in the World. She is Juni Cortez's older sister.

Double Life Emerged

Episode 4

She has joined with Plata Peligrosa to go investigating the multiversal cartel as a spy she uses her own intel and ability to spy to discover some of the ongoing plots that The Cartel is up to. She meets Lincoln and Lydia and one of the more willing to accept their help due to being a former kid hero herself and Lincoln is estactic due to his love for spy genre which Lydia has to calm him down on it.

Episode 5

She went off and spied on the operations The Cartel is up to and she gathers her notes to give to Carmilta and Maria. She makes her enterance as they driving up the biggest body water of Mexico and reports what she had found and gotten into contacts with the leakers to them. Her Contact was revealed to be Doug Judy who decided to leak this info for his own reasons regarding dealing with the group as despite his alligance to the Cartel he is willing to provide intel as he is needed to be a getaway driver for them.

Bunny and Claude also arrive and learns they're in on this too and Carmen follows suit deciding to spy on the operation with Maria as she sends Daffy, Speedy, Lincoln, Lydia and 16 to look into the river lake as she spies on Pi-Pi and his other cartel associates. She is weary of dealing with The Salamancas as they are with Pi-Pi observing the project and she discovers Pi-Pi's benefactor and plans after overlooking his profile she found with Carmilita

Later on the women decide to look into what they found, trying to deduct what is the plan other than profit for the Cartel as well as who killed the people found in the water by her co-horts suspecting there is a conspiracy afoot.

Episode 6

Carmen gets some intel from Doug Judy to look into something in which she wakes up Carmelta to help her with the investigation which they do in the morning. They are suspected by Lydia and Lincoln to be doing such a thing. Due to Lincoln looking up to her a capable heroine and former kid spy , he tells her what Lydia and himself saw on their fishing. Carmen decides to recurit the two of them with the others to investigate Pi-Pi's water park to give Lincoln a chance to use what he knows from spies. She also does this to give Lincoln some fun as a kid which she did admit she did lose it a bit out on, as well to give him and Lydia a fun night.

Unlike Maria, 16 and Carmelta, Carmen decides to go into the park herself to see if anyone is following them, and does note Doug Stamper but decides to keep this to herself not to give herself away.

Her, Speedy and Daffy are also contacted by Bunny and Claude to be told of Midas's hand in the death of 16's team which to be fair Carmen suspected the whole time. She also finds Leon and brings him to them so he can help them with their own tailing of The Cartel. Lincoln and Lydia inform Carmen of what they did find and Stamper, which Carmen keeps in her back pocket.

Episode 7

In secret Carmen is able to find some members of the multiversal resistance that have survived and decides to help send a communcation over to 16 to get the team to them for help. With 16 and co arriving, Carmen is told about Lincoln and Lydia's own adventuring by Carmen and Maria and how they sneaked off. Carmen tells the two that she knows where they're coming she was like that when she was a kid like them, but they have to be more cautious with their spy game.

She stills decides that as long as they stay in contact with Carmen on their spy game, then she'll allow it despite what Caremlita and Maria say.

Episode 8

Carmen and 16 both believing what they say decide to check the Gulf. Carmen decides to let Lincoln, Lydia, Toby and Aaron come along to investigate the area. Upon reaching where Lydia and Lincoln found the kidey. She, Lincoln, Lydia and Aarron put on their swim suits to go down to the bottom and sea what they can find while Toby and 16 wait. Though not able to find any bodies, Carmen does find some plastic cases that contain wild life and with Aaron they are able to find more of them being rigged. Informing 16 and Toby, she informs them of the dead fish she found.

Carmen accompanies the kids and 16 to find and accomplish Syphia and Pyyrha when it comes to heading into town where Carmen uses her own spying abilities to discover what is going on and discovers the gang that is part of who the ladies are after. The Glanton Gang as it turns out is who they are after, Carmen and AAARRRUUGGH both take charge of the kids as they deal with the Glanton Gang. Carmen being well trained use her skills to beat down the gang.

Carmen takes the kids and AAARRRUUGGH to follow suit to where Pyyrha, 16 and Syphia are where Carmen is able to identify who they are targeting and it's Judge Holden. Pyyrha tells them that this is the guy and she is out for this guy, Carmen equips her gun and shoots at him and Holden is quick to avoid shots and uses his strength to go use against Carmen and then uses her gun shots to distract them so her friends can deal with him and escape after seeing Aaron

Carmen and the others escape back to base, And prepare for the next part of their quest after learning about the Bliss attack.

Episode 9

Carmen and her friends discover that Midas was using the Multiversal Resistance's corpses to throw anyone off who could investigate him by staging drown incidents in the ocean and then throwing them in fresh water lakes due to the salt levels of the ocean which Lincoln, Lydia, Toby and Caremlita all manage to discover through forescienics and science knowledge

When 16 and The Multiversal Resistance manage to discover what Midas is up to with his environmental plans, Carmen lets 16 lead the way and they break into the factory that Midas abadoned and used as a cover for his illegal operations under recycling. Carmen goes deep undercover and uses her spy skills to swipe and make copies of what they can prove on The corrupt business tycoon corrupting innocent people into being addicts with his Bliss drugs. She admits that as much as she wants to turn him in, she has no recourse to do so with Midas's connections and the fact that she had read up that he escaped the law a few times.

When Midas's henchmen try to kill them, Carmen with Carmelita and 16 help deal with them as the rest escape with the rest of the info they found. Upon learning Deathstroke, Lincoln and Lydia all know each other, Carmen is the other person alongside Android 16 to convinve him to let the kids stay to help them using her own time as a Spy Kid to appear to him.

When Pyyrha arrives to get the help of Lincoln, Toby, Aaron and Lydia, She convinces Maria to let them do this once again using her time as a kid to appear to her as well as her own relationship with her son.

Episode 10

Carmen is able to do some major digging under the ground as 16 is intent to find where this all was. Speedy goes ahead as 16 is right behind as they all decide to attack from the ground up. Carmen and Daffy manage to find the base and they dig upwards so they can make their attack on Milton Midas but they end up discovering instead the source of the coal. Carmen assisted Deathstroke and The Multiversal Resistance in stopping the acid rain machine and managing to help this.

She tells Lydia and Lincoln about what had all happened with them. When Maria and Carmelita decide that they will go looking for this guy and deal with the criminals at hand and they will go to do the job.

Episode 11

As Carmen and the rest of her allies head to the border. Maria spills that she is heading there alongside Carmelita that they are getting the Louds and Lopezs and bringing them here to pick up Lincoln and Lydia. Carmen is baffled they want to do this as she has faith in them. Maria says that Lydia and Lincoln are good kids, but they're in over their head and that she made a promise to keep them safe and feels she can't do so and Carmelita doesn't want to have dead kids on her conscience. Carmen feels only she sees the capability they have to her

Carmelita, Carmen, Daffy, Speedy and Maria all arrive at the border and wait as they await the arrival of the Lopezs and Louds like Maria managed to call. Daffy is inpatient and he decides to go find them himself which Carmen warns him about.

Juni tries to contact his sister and reunites with her learning they're near the border and Carmen is against Maria and Carmelita trying to bring the Louds and Lopezs here to pick up their kids

Episode 12

Carmen, Maria and Caremlita have a showdown with The Salamancas who are intend to use the kids's parents as leverage. With Guns akin from them and Riff Raff who taken on Carmen who and Carmelita who are also using guns and Maria using her glove to defend against them. As everyone is intend to defend each other.

 As the others go against the Salamancas  and Riff Raff, this is when Judge Holden arrives and causes the Salamanca to flee yet again as he intends to arrest and kill the heroes just like the Salamancas who flee as their intend to kill him to no avail. Daffy and Speedy arrive back to inform them they didn't see neither Lincoln or Lydia's parents but find Holden who they all attempt to deal with. Lydia, Lincoln, Toby and 16 all eventually return and they witness the carrange a half hour later.

Lydia, Lincoln, Toby and 16 are in shock of what happened to their friends as Carmen was the sole survivor of the carnage at Holden's hands. Lydia and Lincoln are both looking for their parents and Carmen informs them they didn't find them this causes them both to begin looking to tear up feeling their parents abandoned them and the rest of the heroes go to comfort them. Jack, Toby, Steve, Aja and Krel do their best to help them. Pepperjack and the others are able to find something that links back to Holden's kills and that the  Cartel had been following up with something in scientific tech. Pyrra offers to take the two in if that really is in the case.

Carmen, Juni, Pepperjack, Sabrina and her friends, Aaron, Pyrrha, AAARRRGGH and Syphia manage to discover as does the other side what the Cartel has been working on under Milton Midas that he has managed to do over time and decide to go chasing down this as Carmen does remember that Daffy , Speedy and the others found with pigs.

What has been discovered on the works of Holden as well as the Cartel as well as what has happened with the heroes and what happened with Milton Midas's actions of polluting the water and manage to track down the source of what happened and this is when Midas's multiple previous plots go into play and everyone joins up to fight up against them. The Heroes then learn of what is going on with Midas's crimes going underway and how it causes a rat race. El Mar Verde is also there with Pablo Escabar, and Iron Masked Marrauder with Ardos. Carmen then escaped

The entire group decide to regroup to make some plans to deal with what is going on, Until Deathstroke and Felciity announce that Mexico is going down in quarantine  as a result of rat rot and it's contamination of the water as rumors were spread about this. This causes more worry for everyone and their families.

Everyone decide to phone their parents about what has gone on with certain results, To Cheer everyone up in their situation, they decide to not only regroup but to make a fantastic huge dinner despite everything. Carmen and Juni decide to get Aaron to call in some favors with Android 16 and Alice.

Lincoln, Lydia, Toby, Aja, Krel, Pyrhha, Carmen, Juni  and AAARRRGGH! all decide they will have to what is necessary regarding the Cartel and what they will need to going forward to keep an eye on things to see what is Milton is going to initiate and to not act irrationally despite losses before hitting the hay.

Act 3

Episode 13

Deathstroke ends up telling Lydia, Lincoln, Pyrha, 16, Toby and the others about what is going on when it comes to what is going on with the Russians. Seeing that some pokemon situation are now here, The heroes need to insure The Iron Masked Marrauder and Ardos don't get their hands on too many shadow pokemon.

Lydia, Lincoln, Toby, Aja, Krel, Carmen, Juni, AAARRRGGH, Steve, Pepperjack and Alice all decide to go to Russia to just that and deal with any Russian problems. Carmen and Juni use their spy connections to already make way to Russia to help get some transportation. Through them, Carmen is able to get Lydia, Lincoln, Toby, Aja, Krel, AAARRRGHH, Steve, Alice, Pepperjack a ship of their own to travel into. Carmen and Juni managed to get to Russia pretty quickly and get a hold of a ship to contain them even the big troll.

Carmen and Juni meet up with Jessie, James and Meowth who found their own way to Russia to follow Team Snagem and The Iron Masked Marruader learning they have already gave their own shadow Pokemon to them through Ein. Upon Lincoln, Lydia, Toby, AAAARRRGGHH!, Aja, Krel, Steve, Pepperjack and Alice's arrival the 5 tell them of what they found out and learn that Giovanni was keeping tabs on Iron Masked Marauder.

Carmen is able to secure info about the Colonel Kuritz from Aja and is able to warn Lincoln and his friends about her.

Episode 14

She and Juni meet up with the team to discuss what they all managed to accomplish with the Pokemon, though the two are able to avoid arrest from the Colonel and are able to provide the info needed for the group and having being in touch Deathstroke certianly assists and they decide to assist in finding a way to break the team out of solitary.

Episode 15

Carmen discovers Solider Boy from Deathstroke about this being the reason the Cartel is loose around here, learning some of the details most needed for their case. She and Juni eventually assist the heroes in escaping the compound by following Black Noir who they notice is helping them out despite his silence profile. Upon escape, Carmen informs her allies about what Deathstroke told her and Juni about Solider Boy

With Krel's help, Carmen discovers Black Noir's history with Solider Boy and Payback and shows horror at the brutality inflicted on Black Noir which is the reason for his status. Carmen, then discusses this matter with Lincoln, Lydia, Toby and her brother about what they found out and Carmen feels that they must help Noir deal with this which her and Juni admit is a bit hard considering The Cartel is also a problem.

Finishing the job with Team Snagem on her and her allies's back, she is able to secure the rest of the Shadow Pokemon which allows for the team a quick return to the rest of the team and discovering what else had gone down since them being gone.

Episode 16

Carmen and her friends spy on the operation that Midas is up to as she is out to figure what the eagle has been up to, since she was in Russia and she discovers concession food stands and restaurants Midas has and decides to learn what makes them so popular.

Episode 17

With the team, Carmen discovers that Midas's food is addictive, and he makes it good to hook people, Carmen also learns that The Egg Sandwiches are in particular dangerous as they turn people into Chickadatyls and this is how the team discovers Midas's real purposes and this leads into a confrontation with the Cartel and later Solider Boy. The latter doesn't go to well and Carmen is able to recover Lydia's damaged gauntlets from the fight.

She later gets what Black Noir wrote to the heroes about Solider Boy and she decides to go public with this when the whole ordeal is done.

Episode 18

Carmen then actively goes to aid the heroes in saving their families and putting the Colonel away.

Episode 19

Carmen and Juni split up from the rest of the team and decide to use all of their info to expose Midas which is in tangem to what Bender and his friends are all up to.

Episode 20

Later, She and Juni return back and see that Quint has repaired the Gauntlets and made them better which they go off to give to Lydia so she can use for her own useage which comes in handy for the team's endeavors when Solider Boy tries to attack them

Episode 21

Getting away from him, she helps the rest of the team disable what Professor Chang has been up to and brings Noir to safety after Solider Boy tries to kill him again.

Episode 22

Catching up with the others and Aaron, Carmen is able to insure the safety of Lincoln, Lydia, Toby, AAARRRGGHH!!, Jack and his friends and Pyrrha before Solider Boy goes all nuclear on the team

Episode 23

After a successful mission, Carmen insists on taking a vacation and takes the rest of the team back to where all the water is now and somewhere hot for all them. Later she hands Lydia and Lincoln a newpaper on what they found out on Midas.

Episode 24

She reports to Peacemaker about what those kids have going for them and it will be wise to keep an eye on them for anything they may need.

En.Tropized

Part 8

Carmen and Juni have been working with Interspy and discover the Dufus Family who has been targeted and that their old friends Lincoln and Lydia have come around and tell them of what they found in regards to The Tek Manor and learn of the invites they have. They decide to investigate it as well and reveal that Juni gave Lydia the flight hair bands to use for her uses. Carmen also vouches for Lydia to join INterspy as Lincoln's partner for her eagerness and involvement with the Smoking Man and The Spot who were targets of theirs. Carmen and Juni tell Lincoln and Lydia that they will meet them at the manor. Carmen is suprised that the two managed to keep them being spies and existing even a secret for as long as they.

Part 9

Carmen managed to find and reunite with Steve and Krel before meeting with Lydia and Lincoln going to Tek Manor. She decides to help the team look into the new info found with Juni. She is able to relocate info with Rave and Truman assisting them and helps the duo get their info needed for Neuman. When Troy goes nuclear, Carmen helps evalculate the manor and shows confidence the two will be fine despite running head into it. After she observes Lydia and Lincoln after their warning and is more than pleased with how Lydia handed herself here and looking with pride to see her maturity show and admiting she and Lincoln are adorable together which she knew about since she worked with them.

Chapter 4

Carmen decides to recruit Lincoln, Lydia, Truman, Clyde and Bruce to go deal with something when it comes to the situation with the Dufuses and The MIrror Agents as they have found something that could be multiverse changing. Unknown to themselves, it belongs to Slade and while they are unable to stop it from landing in their hands, they are able to stop the Mirror Agents and seal them off. Them, Pop Pop and Myrtle manage to realize that it was going to be used for something grand.

She does discover that Jack found Ford and realizes that the two are going to have to come up front now about what Lydia and Lincoln did in the past and their ties to them

Chapter 5

Carmen decides to next plan with the others to capture Neuman and to use her disappearance to their advantage so they can get info out. This plan does manage to go underway and she with the help of Bruce manage to suck up what info Neuman gives to them to determine if there is truth or a lie in all this. Later on, Carmen and the others all go and help Ford deal with Judge Holden and offically introduce themselves to him. She does discover what happened to the Resistance a bit at the hands of N.Tropy and decides to go check on them with Juni.

Chapter 6

She arrives after the deal with the demon, to inform the Streaming Resistance as well as Lydia and Lincoln of their knighting. She does extend with Team Free WIll as well with Juni after it's official. She is present with the others and that she looks with joy at seeing her proteges as well as Amy and other's proteges get an esteemed spot. She and Juni do also convince Ford that his issues regarding Lincoln and Lydia are not unfounded, it's just that they are getting involved in a matter that does so and that Ford should take his time to consider things which he does agree to.

Book 2: Interlude

Carmen with the rest of the Resistance takes the day off for Lydia's 12th birthday and picks up her and Lincoln so they can do something nice for them. Carmen does takes pride for them for how much the two have came through for them all since they meet and helps make her birthday special. Carmen also is planning Lincoln's as well with the others as well.

When things get ugly, Carmen and the Streaming Resistance apart from Toby and Will's aqquaintces join up to deal with General Mornado who is the overarching problem for them all to deal with. She and the resistance manage to insure their efforts go detered. Carmen also was in tangem with Amy, Eleven, Wednesday, Peacemaker and Jake to look further into the Team Free Will Massacre.

Eventually this bares fruit and she discovers N.Tropy's role behind Morando, but she and the gang also discover some more info. N.Tropy isn't just behind this, he is behind nearly everything with Team Free Will as she, Juni and the others find and is able to insure Lincoln and Lydia get this info.

Carmen decides to actively help the two and their friends insure the safety of the heroes and to stop Mornado and his other forces. She and Juni manage to avoid N.Tropy's prying hands and are able to save Lydia and Lincoln from N.Tropy and his Alternate Counterpart who try to do them in afterwards, Carmen also notices Ford is dead and she brings his body to the morgue while Juni gets the two back with the others. Carmen also makes a shocking discovery that The Lopezs have been all killed due to N.Tropy's contigency as well. This she reports to Toby and The Robinsons to tell them.

Book 3: Culmination

Carmen and Juni help Toby gather the rest of the Streaming Resistance to help out, knowing who the enemy now is for them all. With Bender and Anti Cosmo, she and Juni investigate the special living home where The Lopezs where they were residing and end finding some notes that they left for their daughter which The 4 pick up and decide to give Lydia to read when it comes to what her parents wanted to tell her before they died as a result of N.Tropy's revenge plot.

Carmen and Juni ask Lydia and Lincoln and later Bender and Anti Cosmo what is their next move regarding Ford's death and Deathstroke going into hiding helping the former two think on what Ford would like to do and then the latter two when it comes to their involvement in what Tek Knight and Captain Putty exposed on Deathstroke.

She goes with to investigate what was going on on her own while discovering N.TRopy's plans for Mulder and Scully while using the disappearance of The Dufus Family to her advantage to get info out to the heroes. Though she admits Bender is not on vincitiy as he is in Anne's universe due to King Andiras's actions. She helps Team Free WIll save Mulder and Scully though they are capable of throwing down themselves and overhears what Lydia and Lincoln came down in an conclusion they had.
