Carly Carmine, known as Carly Nagisa in the Japanese version, was an unsuccessful, clumsy reporter, who tended to get pushed around by others (In the dub, Carly was not even a real reporter, but was actually an unpaid intern for a newspaper who posted stories about Street Duels on a blog). She also claimed that she was the number #1 Jack Atlas fan.

Along with Kenzo Tenma from Naoki Urasawa's Monster and the two heroines from Gundam, Carly Carmine made a first appearance to have a meeting with Yuinshiel Asteria. Suddenly, she was nervously greeted by the three of them. When the short meeting was done. She and the politicians bid a nervous farewell to Yuinshiel Asteria. In order to make sure, Carly Carmine must remain unharmed.
After the visit with Sento Kiryu and the people of Tekkadan was finished, Carly Carmine and her friends decided to report Lady Yuinshiel Asteria and her followers that the meeting was successful. She and her friends decided to enjoy peaceful time. Suddenly, she and her friends met Leo Conrad and Sally Land for the first time. She is very happy that Leo Conrad and Sally Land are newly befriended and recruited for the first time.
After Hiroki Nagase and his friends were rescued by Tekkadan and Transylvanian Business, she and her friends successfully destroyed the Judgement 6, thus rescuing Rona Tsunomori and Ruko's parents. She and her friends reported to Yuinshiel Asteria and Rena Asteria that innocent heroes are alive and well.
She and her friends had visited Rona Tsunomori for the first time. After that, she was greeted by Kuroto Dan and Knight Unryuji to have a happy Ketogenic Dinner time in the Dinning Hall.
In the next morning she and the Symphogear heroines attended the Speech ceremony done by Lady Yuinshiel Asteria. However, she has noticed that Luigi Latorre and his friends had gone abroad.
