Captain Pollution is an antagonist in the animated TV series Captain Planet and the Planeteers.
He is an evil clone of Captain Planet who exists with a completely destructive and insane personality to make the world a pollution-filled cesspool. He is one of the superhero's most powerful enemies due to Captain Planet weakness to pollution, though Captain Pollution, in turn, is weakened by the natural elements of the Earth, such as water, clean air, sunshine, and many more.
He was voiced by David Coburn, who also voiced Captain Planet in the same series, as well as Richard Perkins in Detroit: Become Human.
The Darken Gathering[]
Darkonda spoke out after finding the five rings to summon Captain Pollution "Let out polluting powers combine!" Ebon "Super Radiation!", Crocbot "Deforestation!", Argit "Smog!", Janga "Toxic!", and Darkonda himself "Hate!". "By your polluting powers combined, I am Captain Pollution!" Darkonda says "Excellent, join The Darken Gathering and you can cause havoc needed for your own satisfaction." Captain Pollution "It will be a great honor joining a group that says screw the law, we can do whatever we want without any lawful authority telling us what to do. I'll be having a blast polluting everything with my environmental destroying powers. Darkonda chuckles to Pollution's comment "Very enthusiastic villain, I like that about you. We must first wait however and see what comes up in our war against the other villain factions and the heroes. Don't fret, you will be a major player in my Darken Gathering group."
