Candide Sampson is the main antagonist of Season Two. She is the new superintendent of Clone High High School as well as Principal Scudworth’s new superior (much to his animosity); both of them attempting to oust each other from the faculty. Candide works in the office above Principal Scudworth's and monitors him through the glass ceiling between their two rooms. She also has an odd obsession with monitor lizards. She replaces Toots as Joan of Arc's new foster parent, as part of her plan to groom Joan as the future world leader in Operation Spread Eagle.
She first appeared in "Let's Try This Again" and is voiced by Christa Miller.

She helps Spot and The N.Trophies set up the detonator respectfully hoping Mulder and Scully will be caught and killed in it too. As they are aligned with Scudsworth who she wants revenge on respectfully
Candice then decides to go find a way to attack Lincoln, Lydia and their crew and has the Mani attempt to take them out and prevent them from stopping the Chronoton denotator. She then heads out with the others as the denator goes off.
Chapter 4[]
She uses the resources she has to start cloning Spider Frogs with the intention of using for Crocker's plans to catch faries as a distraction purpose. Candide decides to also attempt to kill Scudsworth as well with her schemes
Part 2[]
Under her allies, she and Neil Kandy manage to cause malfunctions to Earl's reality warping computers which places the kids in a bad spot as well as Jaune Arc and Johanna. She comes across Scudsworth who she fights for power and tries to kill him, and would have succeeded if not for Mulder and Scully arriving to help out with Kandy as her backup
Candide is arrested by The Agents and Scudsworth mocks her for losing to him who she looked down on as she is taken away.

Eleven, Mike, Lucas and Max are dropped off at one of the holding cells and that they make their way to the prison cell where Candice is. Candice is not that suprised to see the kids here and knows that they must want something from her. Max decides to cut to the chase and straight out asks what does she know about the massacre and who was backing The Spot
Candice straight out says she wasn't too active in the ongoing plot, mostly she was against that nut job of a principal Scudsworth who she was supposed to keep an eye on. Eleven can tell a part of her is lying. Mike and Lucas ask how, Eleven explains through her body language though does agree that Candice really didn't too much and asks about the Trolberg nuking.
Candice taken back said she did help there, placing the choronton dentator up there with him but also with an associate of theirs but 2 of them. Mike points out what else other than being 2 of them, Lucas was also under the impression of there only being 1, but there is 2 backers. Candice says that considering she had cloning technology this was not unbelievable. All the while admitting she also did sabotage a reality warping computer as well. Eleven explains to her friends the one from Flying Rhino where Lydia used to go too. Candice hearing the name takes some delight in the fact that is who it's about and how helping her isn't going to much for her. Max decides to end here and there and leaves her.
