Burmy is a unique Bug Pokemon from the Sinnoh region. It can change its form based on where it battled. It is a Plant Cloak if it battled within a grass region, it is a Sand Cloak if it battled within a cave or on a beach and it is a Trash Cloak if it battled within a building.
Despite the form it takes, it is a pure Bug type. If it's a female, it can evolve into Wormadam, taking on whatever appearance it has based on its cloak and even changes its type depending on its cloak.
A male Burmy, however, can only evolve into a Mothim, a dual Bug/Flying type.
To shelter itself from cold, wintry winds, Burmy covers itself with a cloak made of twigs and leaves. If its cloak is broken in battle, it quickly remakes the cloak with materials nearby.
Ultimate Story[]
Peach, Daisy and Rayman each owned a female Burmy, making sure that each one took on different forms before they evolved. Rayman kept his in a Sandy Cloak, Daisy kept hers in a Plant Cloak and Peach kept hers in a Trash Cloak.
