Bugsy is the second Gym Leader of the Johto Region. He is a Bug-type specialist and the second challenger to the player. When defeated, he will give any trainer the Hive Badge. His gym is set up within Azalea Town, the second destination of the player.
Due to his feminine appearance, people would often mistaken him for a girl, such as Emile aka Chuggaaconroy as he demonstrated on one of his videos in which he was surprised to find out that Bugsy's a boy.
