Brutter is a lurker, an animal species from the Jak and Daxter series who, unlike the first game where the lurkers are vicious, mean creatures, Brutter is friendly, doesn't have a mean bone in his body and has always wanted others to help him and his people. He has paid Krew to protect his people and Jak and Daxter came along to rescue a good amount of his race a few times. Brutter is shown to be greatly appriecative to others who help him, so much so that he is more than happy to repay the favor.
Brutter has happily repayed Jak and Daxter for their help by giving them a piece of Mar's seal and even helped his friend with providing them with a balloon to bring the Rift Rider to the Metal Head nest where the Rift Ring was. He becamea captain for Ashelin after she became the new governer of Haven City.
