Blaze is a martial artist and a member of Grid Battleforce, and was intended to become the Red Ranger. However, when Evox intruded and infected Grid Battleforce's systems, an evil clone was created. As a result, Blaze was put into a comatose state.
Originally, Blaze was cocky, arrogant, and not below using the rules to his advantage, especially if it meant having an intruder placed into a cell even if they have a message of warning, putting rivals in a bad position to retaliate. He had contempt for and had a heated rivalry with Devon Daniels. However, after being reawakened when his clone was destroyed, he had a personality change and had reconciled his rivalry with Devon, even becoming a friend of his.
After Venjix was defeated once and for all, Blaze became a stuntman, being a stunt double for Steel.
