Birdman (Superman in early series before it was renamed to avoid violating the copyright of DC) is one of the Supermen, the guardians of the universe in the Fujiko Fujio manga/anime Perman. He is the one who made Mitsuo, Booby, Sumire, and Hozen Omaya to Permans and told them not to tell their secret identities to anyone.
