Birdman is a Hanna-Barbara superhero of his cartoon show Birdman and the Galaxy Trio. He is an ordinary human endowed by the sun god Ra (although this origin is only vaguely and briefly hinted at during the series; his real name is given as Ray Randall) with the ability to shoot solar rays from his fists and project "solar shields" to defend himself against attacks. He was recruited by a top-secret government agency, Inter-Nation Security, and now works full-time fighting crime, assisted by his eagle sidekick Avenger. In addition to the abilities he received from Ra, Birdman also possesses the power of flight, thanks to the giant wings which sprout from his back. His sole weakness is that he must periodically recharge his super powers through exposure to the sun’s rays, a weakness that is exposed in nearly every episode. His trademark is his battle cry of "Biiiiirdman!!" when he goes into battle.

Chapter 3: Solider Boy's Final Stand[]
Birdman arrives and manages to save Lizbeth, Cassie, Kelly, Ren and Freakazoid from being sent to Alactraz and bargains them to be in his custody
When asked who he is, he tells them he's acting on behalf of their friends. Birdman returns to Larke Tanner and tells her that he got the others for her
As it's not safe to do anything where they are, the group on Larke's ideas decide to head to the northern multiverse. Birdman aplogizes to the team about taking them away from their home, but he states it's the best way to get away from SB
He learns his account was frozen by Tawna, who reveals most of the heroes's account were frozen. The heroes are ambushed by men and he fights them with the others as they try to reach Blue Falcon's hideout
Upon arrival, and later upon being attacked again, Birdman works with Dynomutt and Blue Falcon to get help
Felicity, Hughie and the Hanna Barbera Heroes manage to make a contact to the other Hanna Barbara Heroes and They manage to find them and contact them and they get the help that the heroes called to deal with Solider Boy and his guys. They end up crossing paths back up with Cecil, Steve, Peggy and Scott who inform what the others are up to.
Birdman and Blue Falcon overhear Dynomutt found Lizbeth and they manage to get their other allies to help deal with the situation in hand. Afterwards he resolves the charges on the heroes with his skills as an attorney.
Chapter 4[]
Birdman is called into action like the others to help the heroes with the invasion that Lord Commander and his men are commiting. He gives his all though this isn't enough as he has no idea how to deal with this apart what Betty told him.
After recovering from his injuries, he is trying to figure how to do this. Though he is told by Larke, Cecil and Starlight that they will have to lay low for the time being and that the others will have to relocate to Japan as they talked with Ren and it makes more sense to go somewhere else.
He was captured and then killed by Raven Beak who mounted his head to a wall.
