Big D is brought into Sigma's group through Sigma manipulating him. Originally Sigma was going to choose Ash, Marceline's bastard boyfriend but Big D was a better choice for the role. He helps bait the kidnap from MOM and Yakvone. He meets the Helper Squad with Sigma and fights them. Though he loses like his allies since the golden rule of heroes winning.
