Beta-248 is an advance android created in the Defenders Multi-Universe. Created by Gerald Hassings, Beta-248 meant to serve as an advance new protection unit, Beta was given a wide range of weapons and combat knowledge, including given human emotions, resulting in giving it a personality. Given the new personality, Beta started to refer to itself as a "She" and changes her name to Bailey, expressing a desire to be a human being or at least to live among humans.
Soon later, she meets the new generation of heroes known as The Warriors of Tomorrow and joins them.

- Advance vision - Bailey has amazing vision, able to see things from several miles away. She's able to change her vision into different things such as X-Ray vision or heat detection
- Gift counter measures - The Gift counter measures is where Bailey sees a Gift, and pulls out the right weapon to counter said Gift.
