Barry Allen is recurited by Slade to work with them against Eobard Thawne on Harry's request and with Team Flash. Barry mentions his history with Thawne and helps Slade through the story in getting the spear of destiny and info for Thawne, He eventually then rescues Slade and co when Thawne gets the spear to make sure they aren't petrified. So Barry and the others get back to Bender and team up with Deathstroke against Thawne and then Toffee and Bill Cipher. He is also who works with the phoenix downs to unpetrify the heroes but fights the legion before this. After everything is dealt with he returns to Central City
