Balto is the Main Protagonist from Balto Movies.
He was killed by Discord in-between Aleu's debut and the present. How Discord killed him was by torturing him with the Cupcakes Fan Fic and then doing the exact same thing to him

Balto at some point was resurrected in part to the Spear of Destiny.
Balto randomly appears during an encounter with Gmork to help Lincoln, Lydia, Anti Cosmo and Bender's group with his family. Balto then helps the others with them to lead them to Big City
Afterward, he and his family are sent to Trolberg by Lincoln and Lydia as Lincoln had an idea in regards to Hilda with Lydia if they couldn't help each other with therapy dog/wolves maybe Hilda could use it

Chapter 3[]
Balto and his family are remeet by Hilda, Jaune and Johanna upon their return to Trolberg and assist in rescuing the crew from Crocker and Spot's other goons respectively. Jaune then sends them to find Hilda after giving some time for her to vent.
Epilogue[]
While intitally though he and her family were killed by N.Tropy due to the nuke, Balto and the others turned out alive at the end and were used to help set up the wedding and weed out any possible danger. Due to the loss of Twig it was very much needed.
