Astrid is Hilda's Great Aunt and Johanna's aunt. She lives in Tofoten.
The character does not appear in the graphic novels, She makes her debut in "Hilda and the Fairy Village", the ninth book of the Tie-in books, and appears in Season 3 of the series.

Chapter 1[]
Astrid got in contact with Hilda's grandparents and visited Royal Woods and Clyde's house to see Hilda who she has also worked with in regards to Will who got into contact with through them
Hilda informs her of the situation and Astrid knows about Mulder due to her playing a hand in saving him when he investigating Fairy Isle. Astrid though doesn't tell Hilda the truth about what Johanna
Astrid is attacked by Mr.Crocker with the others and while Crocker is chasing Johanna with Jaune and Anders. Astrid goes to check up on the kids with Pop Pop and Myrtle which they end up finding the Spider Frog again which already had a stench on them respectfully.
Part 2[]
Astrid tells the other adults to let her handle helping Hilda and her friends, which she does with magic charms with the assistance of Pippi Long Stocking and later Jaune and Hobie to save Hilda.Astrid can feel something different is going on as things seem off when it comes to the Spider Frog's remergance
Hearing Jaune and Anders talk about their common connection to Mulder and Hilda. Astrid agrees with them and tells them how she met Mulder and saved him from an attack in Trolberg from ancient giants Astrid allowed him to observe the Pooka as she heard about him and his fondness for the supernatural. She was breaking the rules to bring him to the Fairy Isles, but Astrid had a feeling this man could be trusted as he did so.
Part 3[]
Thinking on some answers, Astrid decides to split up to go Tofoten and Hilda, Frida, David, Joahnna, Jaune, Pippi and Hobie decide to come along. Despite suggestions to travel through ship by Pippi, Astrid tells her that need a untraceable way so they will go by Train. Hilda, Frida and David just relax simple as that hence why Astrid did so
Once in Tofoten, Astrid welcomes them all with some of her rituals, like sprinkling them with fever few and salt-of—water-spirit. Pippi plays alongs with this due to seeing something in this. As Pippi, Hobie and Jaune set foward into Tofoten, they learn from Astrid about the tourist hot spots as the others know already.
As Astrid goes to deliver mail, the rest make themselves to enterain themselves. Johanna and Jaune are looking for stuff to prepare their wedding for respectively as she told Astrid about the wedding and their twins.
They note the Pooka and ask about it and The Pooka states he's the neighbor of Astrid when Astrid comes back she tells them not to trust the, as he stole it. Jaune asks about the Pooka and Astrid explains that he is the second human to see the Pooka, the first one was someone she saved from those huge giants, he was some kind of enthuanistic paranormal investigator. Johanna has an idea on who this is.
Frida, David and Pippi get into contact with Dawn and Clyde and learn what is going on what is going on and state they have got something. Frida and David tell Hilda about what they uncovered by spying on Chandler and Chelesa. They and the others decide to go tell Johanna, Jaune and Astrid. Johanna is skeptical, she knows the rabbit hole is big in the multiverse but doesn't think it go that far.
Astrid and Jaune are a bit more open to the idea and consider asking the idea. Astrid asks how they found their time, Frida, David and Pippi all liked their time there while Hilda and Hobie are both nodding in agreement.
When Hilda and Hobie try to investigate fairies this eventually leads to Johanna letting out grievances with Astird. This eventually leads her to blowing up on Astrid for a fairy mound existing in Tofoten, which Astrid states saving the kids must come first.
With Jaune and Hobie's help they get the kids out of danger, though Hilda has her name called to by cloaked figures with Hobie putting himself in front of Hilda in case they try anything.
Johanna confesses to Hilda that the fairy mounds is why she left and never came back. Astrid tells them that had Fairy Isle found them.
However they are ambushed by Melvin Borg and The Spider Frog once again and find themselves in once again more contention as as their new ally General Kregg is here as well and was brought into to keep Jaune from interferring respectively too much leading to everyone apart from Pippi and David trying to fight as they work on a way back home.
Astrid has an idea on what Jaune has been inflicted by as does Johanna. She wonders if Mulder and Scully do have an idea when Johanna goes to call them. She also develops suspicion that The Spider Frog has been changed since it wasn't contained by the charms so quickingly. Astrid eavesdrops and learn Anders is uneasy about this himself in part to Jaune being a idiot to engage with this, but also he engaged with Upside Down monsters and Anders is terrified of the very thought of seeing those things again.

Part 2[]
Will Vandom returns to see Astrid and informs her of how the prodigal niece is returning like she wants. Astrid doesn't feel right about the lies she has told Hilda and asks a favor to have Will keep HIlda safe and to insure she learns the truth as gently as possible. Will can't makes promises but she will at least work to keep her alive as that is what Hobart wants.
Part 3[]
Will informs her that she has heard Mulder tell Hilda about her fairy finding indeed being real which Astrid seems fine as she wants Hilda to know her true heritage and questions why Johanna has been keeping her daughter and future husband in the dark about it.
Chapter 3[]
Astrid randomly arrives at Hilda's apartment and learns that they have come back to get to safety respectively. She oveheards Hilda and the others wanting to go camping and realizing that Mulder and Hobie have both convinced her to continue her search for fairies
Astrid and Anders then have a discussion if he is going to tell his daughter and ex-wife about his enconter with Vecna. She learns he won't feel they believe him and tells Astrid of what Creel did to him. This horrifies Astrid respectively.
She and the family is ambushed by Mr.Crocker who almost captures her with his fairy gear and almost takes her back but he is saved by Jaune and Anders respectfully who free her. Astrid using the fairy charms to keep the Spider Frog at bay with Hobie and others. She does this knowing it won't last. As they leave Astrid tells Johanna and Anders that they will have to tell Hilda the truth now.
This indeed does happen and Hilda lashes out at all 3 of them, when she gets to Astrid, she loses her ability to trust Astrid as Astrid tried to go against this idea for fairy finding, except she was a fairy herself. Astrid tries to explain but Hilda runs off wondering to herself what to do regarding all this.
Part 2[]
Astrid tries to find Hilda respectfully with Jaune, Johanna and the others hoping to try and explain things to her about her being partially fairy. She heads to Trolberg upon hearing of the chronoton denotator being used by Spot and N.Tropy and hoping she can find Hilda before it goes off
Sadly they fail, and she has to go into hiding with the others in the Nowhere Space as the dark matter and the blast zone settles.
Chapter 4[]
She and Johanna want to help Jaune Arc find Hilda after he recovers, but he turns them down as Mulder and Scully are the ones he wants helping due to their knowledge on what's going on. Astrid is referred to by her brother and sister in regards to explaining to Lincoln, Hilda and Lydia respectively about Johanna and her family
When Hilda gets back with the three, Astrid is told of what happened in regards to Crocker capturing her brother and his wife and that Lincoln as well as Lydia are fine respectively. Astrid wants to talk to Hilda about what happened and Hilda explains her side of the issue to them .Though she wants to save her family, she is told that she doesn't know where to do and that Mulder and Scully have to take the lead respectively in going to Flying Rhino.
Part 2[]
Hilda tells her about Crocker's kidnapping of Phinium and Lydia and Astrid feels like she should have suspected this correctly. Hilda though mentions that she found Lincoln and Lydia for the others and mentions what the two think of her
Astird decides she will do what she can to help the three with their situation as they go through the school under Mulder and Scully's leadership. Marcus and Walter Skinner tell the group about the ceasing of Vecna's action, she is relieved about The Upside Down being no longer a problem and that she can live with her family without reprieve
She decides to focus on finding her brother and sister in law as the others take care of their situation and in part to the Time Agents Astrid gets her results. Upon learning where they are in part to them and The Streaming Resistance, Astrid decides on taking the family as well as Mulder and Scully to rescue them.
Chapter 5[]
Astrid goes with her family and the agents to find her brother and sister in law respectfully under Marcus and Skinner respectively
They discover that they are in Area 51 respectfully as well and head there feeling Crocker is there as he is who managed to abduct her family
Upon their arrival, she uses her senses to find where her family is and is successful in doing so. Albeit she is ambushed with the others by Spot's cronies
She and Johanna decide to rescue their family from Polly Sparks respectfully to free them which they manage to do respectfully
Realizing how dangerous Spot's benefactor is and that even these guys are willing to put their weapons down to deal with him and help them. Astrid convinces Hilda and her family to put their differences with Crocker aside to stop the real threat.
Astrid learns about what is really going on respectfully and learns that Multiversal destruction is what is being sought. Astrid questions why Spot would want this, but learns that he isn't acting alone and that Spot's plan is part to Peacemaker who the others ask who he is. As well as the Streaming Resistance
Astrid meets the Streaming Resistance upon returning back to the Flying Rhino Junior High School and learns about their involvement with Lincoln and Lydia from Hilda as soon as she sees Will and The Robot When the others show up, Astrid meets Lydia and Lincoln officially saying she has heard quite a bit about them from Johanna, Jaune and Hilda which in turn they are pleased to meet her due to Lydia's being pleased about Astrid's role in Johanna's life and Lincoln also having similar views to her.
Astrid wants to help Hilda as does Anders, Johanna and Jaune deal with Spot, but she is turned down as Hilda fells this is something that The Streaming Resistance, Lincoln, Lydia and herself have to deal with.
Chapter 6[]
Astrid looks terrifed at what she is seeing at False Groudon sucking the life out of everything and makes a run with Crocker in his van. As Crocker explains about them and their fairy pratices with Johanna and Hilda as well as being a way to escape
Astrid tries to use her magic with the others to help deal with False Groudon, though she is baffled her charms work nothing on it. She does get sucked into it though by the monster's tentacles like the others. Though she is eventually brought back
Upon Tildy and Kalsa's arrival about the way to fix Trolberg to an extent and their idea. Lydia decides to trust Astrid with using one of the stones respectfully alongside her, Lincoln and Hilda's Grandparents to try and at least start the healing respectfully while handing the last one to Hobie.
Epilogue[]
Mulder mentions how he has been trying to help Astrid, Phinium and Lydia try to blend into society and how Jaune decides to help out with this. Astrid arrives to Johanna's cabin with her brother and sister in law and assist Ruby, Pippi and Hilda's family with the decorating. She offers to reimburse Pippi for her troubles though Pippi states it's really nothing to do her.
She gets why Johanna and Jaune are trying to keep this private, for the most part. She is surpsied as well that some of the Streaming Resistance was invited too despite being barely known. She learns that other than Will and The Robot, it was on Lincoln and Lydia's in assistance.
Astrid acts as the usher to the wedding and has Will Robinson act as her mini one in turn and helps let everyone into the wedding. She sees Death and alerts Lincoln, Hilda and Lydia to his appearance which they assure he's good
Astrid helps get everyone in place for the wedding as she waits for her brother and sister in law to bring Johanna in preparation so everything can go as planned. She sits with her family and Jaune's as the wedding goes and planned and she enjoys Pippi's cooking

Astrid at some point went on vacation with her family to Arcadia and at some point she was attacked and turned into a stone statue with her family as discovered by Mulder and Scully.

Jaune is Astrid's nephew in law, she helps him throughout Streamverse and supports his marriage to Johanna, she like Lydia also favors him over Anders and has a role in the marriage the two have.
Lincoln[]
Astrid heard about both him and Lydia Lopez and seeks to help Hilda find and help them due to caring about both HIlda and Johanna. From what she has heard, they remind her of Philinum and Lydia to some extent. Astrid meets Lincoln eventually and finds what Hilda said about him was true and she takes a liking to him as well as Lydia when they do. Astrid also sees Lincoln a lot like Johanna comparing him and Lydia to kid parrels of Johanna and Jaune for all the differences the two couples have with each other.
Lydia Lopez[]
Astrid heard about both her and Lincoln and seeks to help Hilda find and help them due to caring about both HIlda and Johanna. From what she has heard, they remind her of Philinum and Lydia to some extent. She meets her eventually and they hit off a good friendship, Lydia for her part holds Astrid in high regard and sees her as the black sheep of Hilda's family complex when it comes to abandonment which she takes issues with

Phinium is Astrid's brother.

Lydia is Astrid's sister in law.
Fox Mulder[]
Astrid developed a friendship with Mulder during his time in Trolberg when he was nearly killed during his time in Trolberg. She gains a sense of trust for him due to sheer fascianation and learns Mulder has keep tabs on Johanna and wanting to reconnect with Johanna, has Mulder help her with this and in turn he keeps her true origins a secret for her. She tells Jaune and Anders who also admire him that it's well earned the trust Hilda has for him.
