The Astaroth Clan is one of the remaining 33 Devil clans of the 72 Pillars and holds the rank of Duke inside of the vast hellish land of Triggers Hell.

The house that produced the current "Beelzebub", it was one of the highest ranking families among the 72 Pillars. The next heir was supposed to be the unnamed sister of Ara Astaroth, but she was killed by Ara and executed most of the Devils and sided with her own cult that worshiped her as a Goddess. Yet, Ara assumed the control of the clan, leading it to an era of destruction and chaos where most of the family were executed for trying to against Ara's wishes. Due to Ara Astaroth's actions of trying to back-stab Leohart the Prince of Hell, the House of Astaroth lost many of their privileges.

Prior to Ara's betrayal, Astaroth territory also had the most popular institute for taking the promotion test for Low-Class Devils to rise up to Middle-Class. They also had good ties with the House of Vassago, however the current relationship between the two is unknown.

Symbol

The clan symbol of the Astaroth resembles a capital "A" with a curved trail like design and is green in color.

• In demonology, Astaroth is a Crowned Prince of Hell and Duke of Hell who rules over 70 legions of demons. He teaches mathematical sciences and handicrafts, can make men invisible and lead them to hidden treasures, and answers every question formulated to him. He was also said to give to mortal beings the power over serpents.
