Cortana is an example of a Smart AI.

Artificial Intelligence (or A.I. for short) are atificially created constructs that share a similar intellect similar to a sentient and organic being.

There are two types of A.I: Smart and Dumb. The first generation of "Smart" A.I.s were developed in the mid-21st century

Most A.I. give themselves a unique avatar that corresponds to their main use.

A.I. Rampancy

There are four stages of A.I. Rampancy a handler needs to know about. Rampancy is the known process of when an A.I. starts losing its sanity. This usually happens when an A.I. had been in service for exactly, or more than, seven years.

The four known stages are:

• Melancholia
• Anger
• Jealousy
• Metastability

Melancholia

The first stage of Rampancy. This stage is when an A.I. employs a depression type state. This stage usually goes unnoticed.

Anger

The second stage of Rampancy. This is also the first noticable stage. in this stage, an A.I. starts gaining pure hatred towards its handler and/or everything else around it.

Jealousy

The third stage of Rampancy. Although viewed as dangerous by handlers, this is acctually the safest state an A.I. can be in. It starts gaining knowledge and intellect in this state.

Metastability

The fourth and final stage of Rampancy. In this stage, an A.I. is theoretically considered fully human. Only few A.I. have ever reached the Meta stage.
