Aqune is a Spider Rider who fought alongside the Invectids. She is kind and sweet but a fierce warrior. Despite the fact that she fought alongside the Invectids, the enemies of the Spider Riders, she is not a terrible person. In fact, she sees the Invectids as people who have been suffering and struggling and would like to help them.
However, she has very often been brainwashed by Buguese, one of the leading members of the Invectid army, to which she would be willing to fight against the Spider Riders despite her being in good terms with them.
Aqune is one of the Oracle's handmaidens, with the other being Corona.
By the end of the series, Buguese decided to break the mask that he had been using to brainwash her after their leader, Mantid wanted the Oracle's light to himself rather than use it to help the Invectids.
Her spider partner is Portia, who is the sister of Magma's battle partner, Brutus.
