Android 16 is an android created by Dr. Gero with the intent to kill Goku. Unlike Androids 17 and 18, he is strictly mechanical and can`t be absorbed into Cell like the two.
Gero based Android #16's design off his dead son who was a former Red Ribbon army solder felled by a bullet. Gero, having a special place in his heart for his son, gave 16 great power and his explosive mechanism. But, not wanting him to be destroyed in battle if possible gave him a gentle personality which caused #16 to be considered a "failed model" or "inefficient model" as Cell put it.
Despite being a failed model, With the exception of Cell (who needs the androids to reach his full power), 16 is the strongest android created by Dr. Gero.

Appearance[]
Android 16 is easily the tallest of all Androids in the entire "Dragon Ball" franchise, towering at over double the heights of Androids 18 and 17. He has icy blue eyes, a red/orange mohawk, and gold hoop earrings. His clothing consists of a dark undersuit, with a lime green vest, green boots, and green bracers. A small Red Ribbon Army logo is sewn to the left side of his vest, indicating his creator's affiliation. This presumptively changes when 16 is taken to Dr. Brief to be repaired; the logo is patched by the Capsule Corp. logo after he joins the Z-Fighters. His physical appearance is based on Dr. Gero's son, a high ranking Red Ribbon Army soldier who was killed in action by an enemy bullet sometime before the army's destruction at the hands of Goku.
Personality[]
Despite his intimidating size, monotone dialogue, and seemingly dangerous appearance, Android 16 is calm, friendly, and embraces nature and humanity. He does not tolerate evil and described Cell as an existence whose purpose is to destroy life, especially nature and animals (as Cell is the true evil destroying android that posed a destructive intention to the Earth and its inhabitants of the present timeline, not himself, 17 and 18). He is also protective of whomever he considers his friends, and nature, as he tried to ask Android 17 or 18 to run and hide somewhere and not be absorbed by Cell, even fighting the imperfect bio-android, although these proved futile, as 17's cockiness got the better of him, causing his absorption, and his damaged body and Semi-Perfect Cell's power too much for him, leaving him unable to protect 18, also resulting in her own absorption, and these qualities proved him to be a valuable ally to the Dragon Team in their battle against Cell. Despite his peaceful and friendly nature, he retains a cold and distant attitude towards Goku, since he was initially programmed to kill him. He and his fellow android, 17 had a somewhat brother-like relationship, and his nature-loving character inspired Gohan to let go of his rage and unleash his true power and the newly resurrected Android 17 to live a life to protect nature and animals as a park ranger, and causing him to change his demeanor to undergo a calm, mature, gentleman-like persona, who is willing to sacrifice himself to defend the surrounding animals from whomsoever tries to harm them.
In Xenoverse 2, Android 16 reveals that while he is programmed to kill Goku, he recognizes that Goku is a noble person and admits that he would prefer to be free of it. Ironically, in FighterZ, 16 reveals that when his memory was transferred into a new body by Android 21 his program to kill Goku was not included which he notes when he confronts a Goku Clone.

Android 16 joins up with Dr. Strange and the Multi-Universal Resistance as a main member of the team and helps fight Minster Sinister and BlackGarurumon. He explains to the B Team and the Alpha Team about the Sinisters of Evil and their leader Mister Sinister and then helps the crew manage the transporters.
Android 16 and the rest arrive on the Jungle Isle where using his robotics detect the traps that Gaston and co. cleared earlier and leads the crew minus Flash and Dr. Strange to them. Their theory being confirmed with shot down nets and 16 believes Ultraman will use them against the Resistance.
Android 16 and Alex lead the others to in the impasse and informs everyone where Sinister's allies are located for the others. Android 16 goes with Grey, Sam and Terry to get Catastrophe and he has the other three distract Madame Catastrophe while he uses TNT on her mech eventually destroying it
Android 16 shows up to help Strange and sends Missy Kix and Herbert flying with a powerful punch giving the others a chance to leave. After this, Sunil, Android 16, Dr. Strange, Grey, Carl Clover, Tony, Zoe, Batman, Terry and Alexander discuss what's next on their agenda that being BlackGarurumon. which is where they are heading to next. Android 16 decides to analyze the area for BlackGarurumon's allies and Jessie with James decide to follow him over. Carl, 16, Jessie and James all get an analysis and where to find the treasures to form their second piece and Jaeris also shows up on them giving them a heads up on the villains and their arrive. He detects that it involves dogs and doctors which Tony figured out. He gets the Apples with the team and encounter Helmet, Zangya and Myers who tries to have them killed which Flash won't let.
Android 16 and the crew let Samson in on it and when they see Sinister’s allies. Android 16 believes it’s the opportunity they could be waiting for to find out his plan which Sunil has a plan to do just that. When they arrive and Tony learns about Zoe running off as a were-dog, he deducts it was Erica who attacked her in Act 2 which 16 states is right. Android 16 and the crew hear what Grey and Carl give them and he deducts that they were attacked by Mor'du and Mandrake and that Blue put revenge before reason regarding BlackGarurumon. Phineas and the others try to save the others but they’re all being killed so he, 16, Anna and Frida have a eulogy for the ones fallen.
Android 16 gets back to the island of ice and he works with new allies Bennett The Sage, Daisy and Tai to just that. They see no members of BlackGarurumon as almost all of them were poisoned by Bender and Discord. They do see a train held by Jesse who is using this against Sinister. The teams led by Skipper, Katara, and Tony attack Sinister's castle while they're distracted so Strange and Bender can enter the castle and get Sinister in which they all fight many members of the Sinisters of Evil. 16 heads with the others to the Paradise Lost Kingdom where he meets with the doppelganger who's ruling the kingdom Lady Anastasia and Henry the grandson (great) of Peter Pan who they help defend the kingdom from Loki and Dukat with him working with Sisko, Windu and Samson to knock them all down and find Hook and Jareth. Everyone joins up and destroys the Internment camp, burning it to the ground with "Another Brick in the Wall" while killing any army remaining.
16 and the resistance land on their next island which resembles Zim universe and they all work to stop BlackGarurumon and Loki/Wesker's plans with the mutagen and Sentox. Strange and the guys as well as Batgirl stop BlackGarurumon's men form doing doing so only to get a beating from Nihilus and then getting kidnapped by Crowley who tries to bomb the girls though he gets a connection to them and warns them with Sage, Tony and Strange. 16 escapes though Crowley's plans and by using Frida, Colress and Qui-Gon who do the job for them thanks to Brock Samson using a firecracker and then they save Blue from Pan and Maxmillian. Android 16 and the Multi-Universal Resistance go after Sector 32 and he works with Dr. Strange, Rose, Tony and Sage in an even fight with Crowley so Batman can get the way to kill Crowley. After the Multi-Universe is saved, he leaves with Dr. Strange.

Act 1[]
Android 16 returns to in the storyline as one of the few survivors of the Multiversal Resistence and how he was recovered by Maria Rivera which she reveals to Lydia and Lincoln and decides to put in his file directive to protect them. 16 is a major character as he works with the heroes to figure out the death of his team and what Milton Midas and The Cartel have to do with it.
Episode 3[]
Android 16 is revealed to have rebult by Maria Rivera have an incident where he became one of a few survivors of the Multiuniversal Resistance. He recongizes Lydia from his brief time and he explains the demise of the resistance and those who gotten out. While Lincoln is a bit suprised at how tall the android is, he does come to see his gentle nature quickingly. He sticks with and decides to protect the two kids on Maria Rivera's orders 16 working with the humans manages to deal with some kind of Cartel working unknown to them all and then arriving in the universe of the Book of Life to help Speedy Gonzales deal with a bandito problem in Nasty Canasta and Pancho Vanillia
Episode 4[]
16 finds Nasty Canasta and El Mar Verde with the others and on Plata's orders he decides to protect and keep an eye on Lincoln and Lydia as they have their rematch with El Mar Verde and 16 helps them deal with El Mar Verde as he is able to analyze Verde's weak spot and helps them get to the cavity to deal with The Hero Eater.
Android 16, Lincoln and Lydia meet La Murte and Xibalba the lords of the forgotten and remembered. La Muerte having overheard of the multiversal Resistance's fall and demise and knowing how 16 is still around takes the android as well as Lydia and Lincoln to the land of the remembered so that 16 can see his members of the resistance he worked with and how he can make it up to them for not being there to protect them. Lydia and Lincoln help 16 get some purpose and decide to stick by his side and help him which he appreciates and he swears to protect them even without Plata's own orders
After the trio return with La Murte, they end up discovering from Xibalba and Plata Pelgirosa that was going on was the work of the multiversal Cartel that Nasty and El Mar Verde were part and their main purpose is to just make money and instill some kind of control over the multiverse so they go unchallenged like empire expansion from their spy. Lydia and Lincoln are eager to help this and as they want to help the multiverse and they feel they can do it as a duo for the first time. 16 lifts them up on his shoulders as he will do his best to honor his fallen comcrades with his 2 little buddies he made
The Gang receive a message from a wild card in the organization who has some info for them when it comes to the members of the organization and the plans their boss and they follow suit.
Episode 5[]
16 is heading down to Lake Chapala to go looking into what has been going on in regards to what Doug Judy as well as Bunny and Claude have been reporting to Carmilita and Carmen. He stays with the kids, Daffy Duck and Speedy Gonzales as they decide to go to the outside of the Lake.
Android 16 admires the wild life and beauty of life as he observes the lake with the 4. He is told to stay with Speedy Gonzales as Daffy, Lydia and Lincoln go underwater to find more than a piece of clothing that surfaces. When the three come back, Daffy infroms 16 about the bodies and how they belonged to the Multiversal Resistance his group. 16 was aware they were gone but he had no idea at the time that some of his allies were buried under the sea and in cement shoes. Android 16 stays near the lake as the rest talk as he has a feeling his allies were on to something and feels The Cartel may have a hand in it.
Deciding to not change his priorites, he accompanies Lydia and Lincoln to Ancient Mexico as he is unwilling to go against his orders. 16 has a noticeable amount of knowledge on Ancient History which he tells the two as they observe the scenes together. He is brought back with the others through La Murete and XIlablaba. 16 acquires a warm blanket for the kids so they can keep warm during the cold rainy night.
Episode 6[]
His allies managed to spy on the situation regarding Pi-Pi and some of his own activities that are going on. 16 knows more details on The Water park owner and that they will need to make an investigation directly in the park despite the reservation of his allies. Lydia and Lincoln decide to volunteer for the mission using the fact they are kids as a cover. 16 is hesistant to do so since he is unsure if there might be anyone expecting this and considering his priorities he wants to go. Carmen does stop him as he is a robot and not like the others.
As the two do their investigation, he still keeps an eye from afar with Carmilita and Maria as he knows somewill go and considering his sensors he can use them to detect danger. Later on after the kids finish their time at the water park, 16 discovers that his team was killed by Midas as Speedy and Daffy report this to him over Bunny and Claude's sneaking around that Midas went up against his team and Midas managed to have them killed using a enforcer he had at his diposal before losing them.
He also discovers that the disappearance of a water Comissioner who was corrupt at first before being killed for objecting to what Milton wanted. 16 has a sensor feeling that the body wad dispoed through water just like his allies which Midas must have drowned as it's most unusal to him that there was water in each of their lungs according to his analysis.
Act 2[]
Episode 7[]
Lincoln, Lydia, Leon and 16 discover that what happened to the water comissioner and investigate what did go on with the rest of the bodies they found thanks to what Doug and the Bunnies told them. Leon and 16 have som ideas on what had happened with them as some of them are simple henchmen as well as some of his teammates. Through their observations, 16 and the kids discover that salt water is in the lungs and that it must have came from the ocean or something as Lake Chapula is a fresh water lake.
He manages to receive a communciation calling out for him and from who he thought was dead and inform the others of this where he and the gang decide to go looking for, though as he discovers that Lincoln and Lydia have made some associates of their own as well as they went on their own investigations.
They find Jessie, James, Meowth, Mysterion and Rose who have all managed to live and have been looking into what has happened with their team and discover the Multiversal Resistance's corpses that 16 found with Lincoln and Lydia. 16 does analyze what they say and that the encounter that resulted in the team's disappearance was linked to a powerful brute who managed to kill a few of them and knock out a few of them to ultimately kill by drowning them. 16 thanks them for this and inquires them to continue looking into this, and asks for their help regarding the Cartel which they do agree to.
Episode 8[]
16 joins the others in heading out to the Gulf of Mexico to find what else happened in the ocean. While not finding any other bodies, as he and Toby wait they do discover environmental life being wiped out through plastic rings for Midas's own operations which saddens him to see how someone like that shows little concern to nature
Later he joins Pyyrha's group as they head down to the bad lands of town and find the events that preside them. with The Glanton Gang, he instructs AAARRRUUGGH to keep the kids safe as this Pyyrha and Syphia want 16 to accompany them to deal with the one behind the gang. The three manage to find Judge Holden's hide out and are joined by the others, who Pyyrha confirms is the mastermind she is after, though as 16 confirms he isn't a mastermind figure, but just a sheer danger that he can sense. Toby runs into head into deal with Holden which 16 tries to stop and then They decide to try and fight and kill Holden, though 16 is powerful and doe shave a smart edge on them, he is nearly dismantled by Holden but is saved and is able to get away due to Aaron.
Retuning back to the other 4 of them. Pyyrha did observe the organs brought to them and that it was proved the salt water damaged them as well as eye glasses that anyone in the Multiversal Resistance had and how it can damage vital organs and bodies in vast assesses. 16 is still focused on Midas, as between him and Holden, while Holden is more dangerous in power, Midas is more intent on destroying the land he holds scared.
Episode 9[]
The Group does an Organ investigation with the team as they discover that the Multiverse Resistance's were drowned in salt water in the ocean but thrown in the reservoir and lake to insure no body swimming discovers anything that is connected to Midas or his murder. 16 was supscious that this was the cause of his team's death and now he has been vindicated when it came to this.
16 Discovers the Eww Corporation's actions and the rest of the resistance joins up with them to go looking into what Midas did with the water and the resistance discovers that Midas is working on something. It's the drug Bliss but also the slurry which is being used for his own uses as opposed to just wiping the sea clean of life. 16 detects that it was brought back to a certain factory where it was produced and that they must head there.
Having overheard of what is desired by Midas, they go off to stop the plan Midas has with his criminals when it comes to Slurry which is done by reading how Midas dumped the rest of the residue which as he informs his crew is in the diguise of a recycling plant.
16 detects that it was used to destroy the lab that was used for the drug Bliss and it is a potent explosive as well as an coolant and used to feed pigs. 16 notes that there already have been causalities of the drug that Midas acquired. When Midas's goons try to kill the team because they know too much, 16 takes matters in his own hands and covers the escape of the team single handily and to insure the results they are seeking.
Lydia, Lincoln, Toby and Mysterion destroy the Bliss Recipe and with 16's help they destory the factory due to the disgust they feel towards Midas's environmentally destructive plans.
When Deathstroke calls up Lincoln and Lydia on what they are doing here and while he wants them send home, 16 alongside Carmen convinces him to keep them on their own trek and allows his remaining allies to aid Deathstroke. He also agrees to let Lincoln and Lydia go with Pyyrha as Maria and him are being a bit too protective of the kids as they came together on.
Episode 10[]
16 notices the acid rain and hides his crew in the caves and with Daffy, Maria and Carmen they all are able to do some major digging under the ground as 16 is intent to find where this all was. Speedy goes ahead as 16 is right behind as they all decide to attack from the ground up
Carmen and Daffy manage to find the base and they dig upwards so they can make their attack on Milton Midas but they end up discovering instead the source of the coal.
Iron Masked Marruader tries to kill Team Rocket so they don't get in his way of killing the Boss, when he is socked in the face by 16's rocket arm. Rose and Mysterion regroup with 16, and the trio are able to free the others and they are able to fend off Iron Masked Marrauder's dark ball pokemon. Mike and Leon are then able to get the help of 16's allies and James to rework and stop the acid rain machine so Midas can't do any more potential damage to infrastructure
Lincoln and Lydia return to their friends with Toby and Aaron and find out what they did with Midas. They are taken back by Midas and what he did and how he was using Pokemon to accomplish such an end. It's wished that they could have pokemon they could have had. The Team informs them that they had help with Deathstroke's group
Episode 11[]
Being left with 16, Lydia and Lincoln wonder what they are to do now and what is next with the Cartel or Holden.
Lincoln is still shaken by what Holden did to him and Lydia notices this and asks the others what they should do about him. Syphia, Toby, Aaron and Pyyrha all understand Lydia's concern for him but feel she shouldn't push it on him and allow him to process what Holden did to him. 16 and AAAUURRGH don't feel she is though. Aaron still has the Mitchells Car as it turns out and Lincoln does bring it to live with the crayon.
16 takes the wheel to drive down to Arcadia and everyone makes their way to Arcadia.
The heroes arrive in the day and Lincoln, Lydia, 16 are introduced to Toby and Pyyrha's friends who other defenders of Arcadia from the events of 3below, Carmen's brother Juni as well as Alice and Sabrina who Lydia does remember from the past as part of the Multiversal Resistance and Alpha Team. Lydia tells a curious Lincoln about them and they discover Alice left the resistance for a specified reason. Every member's history to joining Pyrrha's team is revealed and what they found on Holden.
Alice, Juni, 16, Pepperjack, Krel, Jack and Syphia note something is going on and it's Machine Head and Jack Horner who tossed the 3 of the Cartel mooks around with their own forces which are aliens and they go to alert the others. El Mar Verde attacks at the dance and is joined by Jack Horner and who Machine Heads called for favors and it leads into a huge fight between Lydia, Lincoln, Android 16, Toby, Aaron, Syphia, Pyrrha, Eli, Steve, Juni, Aja, Krel, AAURRGHH, Alice, Jack, The Sabrina crew all go up against the massive cartel attack and invasion. It's hard 3 way stand off between the protectors, Jack Horner and his 2 allies and Lorenzo, Glowface and Titan.
After managing to take down the attackers, though it does leave some damage in the school which 16 decides to help rebuild the school's damage before leaving on a spaceship back to Mexico. He convinces Alice is willing to put her differences against AAARRUUGH, despite her anger that he killed her allies. As Unlike the others, she isn't willing to let this go.
Episode 12[]
Lydia, Lincoln, Toby and 16 are in shock of what happened to their friends as Carmen was the sole survivor of the carnage at Holden's hands. Lydia and Lincoln are both looking for their parents and Carmen informs them they didn't find them this causes them both to begin looking to tear up feeling their parents abandoned them and the rest of the heroes go to comfort them. Jack, Toby, Steve, Aja and Krel do their best to help them. Pepperjack and the others are able to find something that links back to Holden's kills and that the Cartel had been following up with something in scienfitic tech. Pyrra offers to take the two in if that really is in the case.
What has been discovered on the works of Holden as well as the Cartel as well as what has happeed with the heroes and what happened with Milton Midas's actions of polluting the water and manage to track down the source of what happened and this is when Midas's multiple previous plots go into play and everyone joins up to fight up against them. The Heroes then learn of what is going on with Midas's crimes going underway and how it causes a rat race. El Mar Verde is also there with Pablo Escabar, and Iron Masked Marrauder with Ardos. This 16 takes as a upfront to nature and he puts himself in serious risk over what they have done to it. He though also has his sensors indicate that Doug Judy and Bunny Claude were affected as well.
The entire group decide to regroup to make some plans to deal with what is going on, Until Deathstroke and Felciity announce that Mexico is going down in quarrintine as a result of rat rot and it's contaimation of the water as rumors were spread about this. Everyone decide to phone their parents about what has gone on with certain results, To Cheer everyone up in their situation, they decide to not only regroup but to make a fantastic huge dinner despite everything. Carmen and Juni decide to get Aaron to call in some favors with Andorid 16 and Alice.
Act 3[]
Episode 13[]
Upon being informed of what has been going on with their situation and Midas taking over the Cartel, 16 lacks surprise to all this and agrees to allow the kids to go with The Tarrons and The Spy Kids to go to Russia to deal with what is going on. Joining Pyrrha and her friends, 16 works under Deathstroke and his allies to investigate Midas's actions that he is attempting to achieve.
16 discovers the child peddling that Midas is engaging in and discovers she isn't the only kid he is using as Jack tells him his friends are being used as well and 16 agrees to assist in saving them noting his ambition has no limits. He also is able to set a contact to Toby later on to inform the others of Midas plotting something with a double cross and has a colonel on the case to do just that.
Episode 14[]
16 assists in investigating the work that Midas is doing and is quick to observe Deathstroke and Stan free the animals from Midas which gets a smile on his face, that there they are others protecting the wild life he holds scared. Through Syphia, he discovers and makes a scan that Midas in a way tried to trick Lincoln and Lydia into thinking he killed their parents, when really he turned them into pigs and is going to turn them into something edible down the line and is fattening them up to just that in his new food business. 16 with Pyrrha and Jack decides to call it in and give this info to Carmen and Juni to tell Lincoln and Lydia of what the eagle is really doing.
Episode 15[]
16 joining Pyrrha and Jack manages to pull off a sucessful rescue of Quint, June and Dirk stopping their excution at Pablo's hands upon discovering they are getting rid of them in favor of using Gosalyn. The Trio manage to free them as the others are able to distract the Cartel sucessfully.
When Lincoln, Lydia, Toby, Steve, Pepperjack, Team Rocket, Aja and Krel return, he informs the former two of what he does know on what they did regarding Midas's operations.
Episode 16[]
16 aids the group in looking into what they need to find on Midas and his operation, as well what has happened with the Payback work as well.
Episode 17[]
Discovering Midas intends to make people into animals and then kill them for food, 16 goes with the intend to stop him as he can't be reasoned or kill him even which leads into a conflict with the Cartel and later Solider Boy. 16 is able to fend off against Solider Boy what enough until he gets blown up to just a head as he lays himself down to protect Lincoln and Lydia. Still as A Head, he is still desiring to help Lincoln and ask him realize that Solider Boy is wrong about him like Lydia does and that they need to expose the insane supe.
Episode 18[]
16 is picked up by his head and he decides that he still wants to be able inspire Lincoln, Lydia and Toby safrices himself to insure Midas never does this kind of thing and inspires the trio to that it's not a sin for fight for a cause like this and that their enemies cannot be reasoned and not to hold back that insists they protect the animals and wild life for him.
