Amelia Jones is a character from Power Rangers Dino Fury and the main character of Power Rangers Cosmic Fury.
She is portrayed by Hunter Deno.
Amelia is a go-getting journalist with a passion for the paranormal, Amelia works at the internet media agency BuzzBlast. She's well known in Pine Ridge as the person you come to if something weird happens. Her enthusiasm seeps into everything she does, much to the amusement of her friends and co-workers.
She was later revealed to originally be from the planet Rafkon, Zayto and Aiyon's home planet, with her biological parents being Tarrick and Santaura.
Six months after helping her mother reform and defeating the Sporix once and for all, Amelia and Ollie spent time helping her family convert Area 62 into a home for the remaining Rafkonians, and the two would later meet up with Javi, Izzy, Fern, and Aiyon to celebrate Izzy's High School graduation. The Rangers would be called back to Dinohenge by Solon after she sent an alert to them that an unknown energy force was breaching the force fields. After arriving at the base, the energy force reconstituted into a new Ranger, who was revealed to be a resurrected Zayto, who had received new powers after having sacrificed himself six months prior. Zayto alerts the team that Lord Zedd has escaped his crystalized prison, which the Morphin Masters sent to the planet Zordnia, the planet where the Shogun Zords originated from. With this information, the Rangers morph and set off for Zordnia to combat Lord Zedd and his new allies and rescuers, Squid Ink, Inc. and their CEO, Bajillia Naire. While fighting Zedd's new soldiers, the Zentinels, the Dino Fury Rangers gain assistance from a Legendary Ranger: Billy Cranston, the Mighty Morphin Blue Ranger.
After Ollie was corrupted again and Zayto thrown into space through a Cosmic Gateway, Amelia took it upon herself to take up leadership of the team. After losing her Dino Fury Pink Ranger powers, she refused to give up and kept the Ranger team together through thick and thin. As a result, when she received her new Ranger powers, the Morphin Grid reacted to this and made her the Cosmic Fury Red Ranger, cementing her role as the new team leader. She lead her team to victory against Lord Zedd alongside fellow Rangers Billy, Mick, and Heckyl. After Zedd's banishment to Nibyro, Amelia attends Javi's concert and receives a message from her dad that her baby sister, named Poppy, had just been born.
Amelia serves as the Dino Fury Pink Ranger, later becoming the Cosmic Fury Red Ranger.
