Amaura (Japanese: アマルス Amarus) is a dual-type Rock/Ice Fossil Pokémon introduced in Generation VI. This calm Pokémon lived in a cold land where there were no violent predators like Tyrantrum. This ancient Pokémon was restored from part of its body that had been frozen in ice for over 100 million years.
It is resurrected from a Sail Fossil and evolves into Aurorus when leveled up at night starting at level 39.
Its name may be a contraction of Amargasaurus combined with aurora.
Ultimate Story[]
Zelda found a fossil to which was revitalized into an Amaura. It then evolved into an Aurorus by strange circumstances.
Yoshi owns an Amaura.
