Altaria is a combination Dragon/Flying type Pokemon. It is the evolved form of Swablu.
Its name is a combination of alto, the Spanish and Italian word for tall or altus, the Latin for high, and aria, Italian for air.
Altaria dances and wheels through the sky among billowing, cotton-like clouds. By singing melodies in its crystal-clear voice, this Pokémon makes its listeners experience dreamy wonderment.
Altaria sings in a gorgeous soprano voice. Its wings are like cotton clouds. This Pokémon catches updrafts with its buoyant wings and soars way up into the wild blue yonder.

Krystal owns an Altaria. It is one of the few Pokemon that she can Mega Evolve.
