Alphonse Elric (Japanese: アルフォンス・エルリック Hepburn: Arufonsu Erurikku), commonly called Al (アル Aru), is a fictional character and one of the protagonists in the Fullmetal Alchemist manga series and its adaptations created by Hiromu Arakawa.
