Alomomola (Japanese: ママンボウ Mamanbou) is a Water-type Pokémon introduced in Generation V.
It is not known to evolve into or from any other Pokémon.
It may look like an evolved form of Luvdisc, but it is actually not. At least, it hadn't been confirmed as such.
Its name is a combination of Mola mola, a scientific name for the ocean sunfish, and mom, referring to its status as the Caring Pokemon.
