Adam Daniels is the Mayor of the city of Coral Harbor and the father of Devon Daniels. He's responsible and strict, but he cares for his son and wants him to be prepared for the professional world. He didn't like the idea of using Morph-X as an energy source for consumer use at first due to villains such as Rita Repulsa, Sledge, and Galvanax trying to steal the powers of past Rangers to try and rule the multiverse. This view changed when Commander Shaw revealed to him that she anticipated the possibility of someone wanting to steal this power and had Nate and his science team develop weapons and powers for a new team of Rangers.
He originally had a disappointing view of his son because of his tendency as a slacker, but this changed as he witnessed his son demorph as the Red Ranger. He assisted the Rangers in the final fight against Evox, but the virus ended up hijacking Mayor Daniel's body after his physical body was dissolved.
