The InGen Acrocanthosaurus also called the Acrocanthosaurus or Acros are clones of the large theropod dinosaur species Acrocanthosaurus created by InGen as a planned attraction for Jurassic Park although the animals were transported to Nublar they were never exhibited and now roam Nublar and Sorna, although not being cloned by InGen in the canon the dinosaur has appeared in various major extended media mainly games. The Acrocanthosaurus are easily identifiable by the large spines or small sail on the animals back, they also have a very bulky build. The Acrocanthosaurus are quite large animals, standing at 16 feet / 4.8 meters tall, with a length of 38 feet / 11.5 meters, and tipping the scales by weighting 6.3 - 8 tons. The Acrocanthosaurus are often solitary creatures, preferring to stay by themselves but they would still would tolerate sharing their territory if a enough food is present. The Acrocanthosaurus is noted to be somewhat aggressive, as it'll consume anything it deems good enough to be prey. The Acrocanthosaurus also has sense similar to that of the InGen T. rexes, such as good senses of smell but the Acrocanthosaurus has superior eyesight.
